Meet Mina Gherman
Marketing Strategist.Storyteller.
Project Manager.
As a creative professional with deep roots in Homer and a Master’s in Advertising from Boston University, I am passionate about intentional marketing, brand strategy, and social media support.
I’ve spent the last two years as the Marketing Director for the Homer Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center, where I led the production of the annual Homer Visitor Guide (60,000+ copies distributed), managed the Visit Homer social media presence (20K+ followers), and built marketing systems that increased sponsorship, visibility, and engagement across the community.
I also work with select clients on the Kenai Peninsula and beyond, offering social media management, brand strategy, content creation, and campaign planning—rooted in creativity, clarity, and care.
I lead all marketing for the Homer Chamber, Visit Homer, and dozens of local events.
I created the last two Homer Visitor Guides (60,000+ printed copies).
I manage @VisitHomer (21K+ followers) along with several other Chamber and tourism-related accounts, including @TasteofHomer, @WinterKingTournament, @HomerHarborFest, and @CityofPeonies. I also managed content for @RowdyGirlSanctuary (38K+ followers), a nationally recognized nonprofit, creating daily posts, video content, and growth strategies.
I offer leading agency-level expertise with local insight—and no fluff.
I earned my Master’s in Advertising from Boston University with a 4.0 GPA and a full merit scholarship.
I was a Creative Strategist at Neoscape in Boston, where I worked with national corporate brands on rebranding and strategy development.
I’ve worked on campaigns for vegan startups, tourism groups, and small businesses across the U.S., NZ, and the UK.
