As the lead editor for the 2024 and 2025 Homer Visitor Guides (60,000+ copies), I spearheaded a full-scale rehaul of both publications—from editorial vision to final print. I led the redesign process, collaborated with graphic designers to create new cover and inside artwork, and rewrote all interior copy to reflect Homer’s evolving brand identity better. I curated and organized all photography, ensuring cohesive visual storytelling that highlights Homer’s unique charm. Additionally, I coordinated ad placements by collecting, designing, and proofreading ads for local businesses, balancing artistic integrity with sponsor visibility. These guides serve as the cornerstone of Homer’s tourism marketing and are distributed statewide and beyond to inspire travel to the region.
